Clinical Experience
I have been a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Washington since 2004. I have maintained an active clinical practice in Burien since 2016. Prior to this, I worked at Seattle Children’s Hospital for over 12 years and was on the clinical faculty in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine. At Seattle Children's I was an Attending Psychologist in the Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Outpatient Clinic, as well as on the Consultation and Liaison Service and the Inpatient Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Unit. I was also one of the lead psychologists in the intensive pain rehabilitation program through Seattle Children’s Pain Medicine Clinic.
Education and Training
I majored in Psychology at the University of Michigan, and earned my doctorate in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology. I completed my residency at the District of Columbia Commission on Mental Health Services, a program accredited by the American Psychological Association, and received my postdoctoral training for 2 years at Children’s Hospital and Research Center in Oakland, California where I gained a specialty in pediatric psychology. I am an active member of the Washington State Psychological Association, and served as a member of their Board of Trustees from 2016-2018 (serving as Secretary of the Board in 2017-2018).
